Age has brought some wisdom:

Accepting the nature of
the human bio-computer,
Shams has learned
to surrender all judgments.

This mind is limited in understanding
to what it has cataloged
from past experience.

This mind cannot realize or know
that this present moment Is
all there is;
all brand new!

So where and what
is the faculty within
that allows the spaciousness
to live in the divine mystery
of this eternal present?

God resides within your very heart,
dear pilgrim.

The Spider and the Fly

A spider and a fly met in a widow well one day.

Said the spider to the fly,

"I fear I may be swallowed by you."

"Not so," replied the fly.

"It is I that should fear,

for it is I who may be your dinner."

"But, you have seen so much of the world

and I am wedded to this window corner.

Your vast experience threatens to overwhelm me."

"Fear not, great arachnid, you are who you are.

No amount of experience can change your essence."

Just so, the spider swallowed the fly

and was given flights of vision.

And the fly?

The fly now spins webs of stories

I Reach Out



I reach out
to the highest,
the purest,
the most Holy
in You.


First, there is the blissful silence
of our breath.


Then, communion
not in words
but in worlds
of knowing,
passed effortlessly,
One to Another:


This wedded bliss.

Secret

Shamsuddin has a veiled secret.

Only finding true love
can reveal it.

Such is the naure
of this world.
Such is the nature
of Love.

Are you curious?
Do you hunger for truth?

Then come,
take a walk

will afflict you.
