Don't you love it?
When those who are close
begin to assume
that they know you
so well as to be able
to predict your every behaviour?

...and, then, proceed to get mad at you
when you inevitably
break free of their book-jacket box!

When will we learn,
Dear Lovers? ... when?
To accept one another
as we do an exsquisite sunset?

Soon we will
and soon we will
perceive the Glory

beyond good and bad,
right and wrong,
better or worse!

In that day we shall take
our proper place
in this awesome creation.
